Hi, I’m Megan, a Southern California-based videographer specializing in documentary-style storytelling. My passion lies in capturing your unique and authentic love story through the art of filmmaking. I focus on not only the grand, unforgettable moments but also the subtle, non scripted details, ensuring every second of your day is beautifully preserved. I strive to create heirlooms that not only capture a day of, but a love story that has been growing long before and will continue long after.
Little More About Me…
Hi, I'm Megan! I grew up in the laid-back town of San Luis Obispo, California, where I discovered my love for creating with my hands and being in nature. My childhood was full of family trips, captured moments, and scrapbooked memories—thanks to my parents, who always made documenting life a priority.
When I was 15, my parents bought me a GoPro and it changed everything. From then on I took that GoPro on every adventure we took, stitched together a video with music for my family. From then on, I started filming vacations, milestones, and everyday moments—anything that made me feel something. I loved turning memories into something you could watch, relive, and feel all over again.
That passion led me to the University of Colorado Boulder, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Media Studies. I dove deeper into video, communication, and the power of storytelling through digital media. Somewhere along the way, I also fell in love with a southern boy from Alabama who has taught me to love myself and to not sweat the small things. I also raised my first born son (my dog Theodore).
Now, I’m back in California, living in sunny San Diego where it all started. Whether it’s through video, photos, or simply soaking in the moment, I’m always chasing that feeling of holding onto what matters most.
